Cup stacking bin located near the vending point
- Used cups taken back on next visit to machine
- Bin emptied into Save a Cup sacks then fastened using the drawstring
- Sacks stored in outside container
- Collected on regular schedule
- Transported initially to a local Waste Transfer Station
- Bulked and baled
- When sufficient stock available transferred to processor
- Approximately 20 tonnes per delivery
- When sufficient stock available (approximately 40 tonnes)
- Washed
- Flaked
- Extruded into pellets where appropriate
- Recyclate sold and used for new products
